I don't think all of them are bad teacher. Maybe some of them are bad but not all of them.
The problem in Bahrain is not the teachers, it is the method of teaching, the English teaching itself is a very bad. I think the circumstances should be re-formed and re-organized. Teachers should change their style of learning after that, they should give the students more confidence to talk. They should stimulate the young students to talk and to be free in talking english.

TEACHERS OR StUDENTS?........ this is the summary of this discussion..
can i just just add something.....
*For the MR. who said
" the head fo the english department in a secondary school couldn't distinguish between these two words:
distroy and destroy and of course their deriative nouns distruction and destruction !!!
see THE HEAD OF ENGLISH DEPARTMENT IN A SECONDARY SCHOOL... WHAT A SHAME.... SO HOW ARE THE OTHERS"
IS IT A SHAME COZ HE DIDNT KNOW THE MEANING OF A WORD!
My god .. we r too narrow minded if we think that we can judge someone so superficially and relaying our judgment on a "word".
for your info.. SIR.."and i think you know it" some of the native speakers themselves dont
know the difference and It aint a shame!
DO you know each and every word in Arabic.. I dare you.!
* another thing..
The welling to learn the Language.... This is the main problem in the schools.
Everyone here was comparing those who who study in Gov. schools with students who are studying in Private inst. ..how come.. you have to keep in your mind that those in the private sectors are not forced by their parents or society to study in a school and especially "ENglish.. even students with scholar ships! ... They didn't get there SS. if they don't have the desire to study ...!!! RIGHT?
IT aint a faire COmparison between the both ...
Just think about it ................!
AND there aint any sloution.... coz u cant force people to learn ENglish.. TO learn a Language is an ability and Not everyone has it .. as simple as that .. take it or leav
